Built on Trust. Grounded in Craft. Inspired by Real Life.
At Sasquatch Contracting, quality isn’t just a deliverable — it’s a mindset. Founded in Boise in 2016, we set out to be more than a general contractor. We wanted to be the kind of partner you’d welcome into your home or business: one that listens, communicates clearly, and follows through. Whether it’s a full remodel, a custom build, or a tenant improvement, we approach each project with the same values that inspired our start — honesty, collaboration, and pride in doing the job right.
Our Story
How It Started — and Why It’s Different.
Our founder and CEO, Mary Peters, launched Sasquatch Contracting with a simple but uncommon goal: to build a construction company she’d trust in her own home. As a working mom juggling family and career, Mary knew firsthand how hard it was to find a contractor who combined skill and dependability with true client care. So, she built a company that does things differently — one that keeps communication open, design collaborative, timelines realistic, and client needs at the center. Today, that commitment is at the heart of everything we do.
Our Team
No Egos. Just Experts.
At Sasquatch, we believe great work happens through teamwork. From the first demo swing to final walkthrough, our crews, designers, suppliers, and project managers operate as one team with one standard: excellence. Everyone brings something to the table — and we make sure those contributions show up in the quality of our work, the efficiency of our process, and the experience you have along the way.
Our Mission
To Build Spaces — and Careers — with Purpose.
We exist to make better spaces for the people who live, work, and invest in the Treasure Valley. Whether we’re remodeling a family home or building out a commercial storefront, we bring thoughtfulness, transparency, and pride to every detail. Just as important is the team behind those builds. We believe in fostering a safe, supportive, and empowering workplace — one where people from all backgrounds can grow, lead, and take ownership of their craft. Whether someone’s with us for a season or a career, our goal is the same: to help them leave every site a little better than they found it — including their own path forward.
The Head Sasquatches

Mary Peters, Founder and CEO
About Mary
The rare leader who built Sasquatch to prove that honesty, integrity, and craftsmanship aren’t myths—they’re the standard.
In 2016, Mary founded Sasquatch Contracting with a mission: to be the trustworthy, reliable contractor homeowners struggle to find. The name reflects that rarity—qualities as elusive as the creature itself.
As one of the few female leaders in construction, Mary brings a fresh, client-centered perspective. She champions ethical practices, transparent communication, and strong partnerships with local subcontractors and suppliers. Her vision: to make renovations seamless and stress-free for families, retirees, and everyone in between.
Beyond Sasquatch, she launched Yeti Services, a monthly home maintenance membership, and owns Treasure Valley Floor Coverings and Designs, offering stylish, budget-conscious flooring and cabinetry solutions. Mary is proof that with passion, resilience, and heart, even the boldest dreams can be built.

Dean Peters, Director of Operations
About Dean
Keeping projects on track—and morale high—with systems, solutions, and just the right amount of dad jokes.
Dean Peters is the backbone of Sasquatch Contracting and the force that turns vision into action. With decades of experience across every corner of construction—from demo to final walkthrough—Dean doesn’t just know how things work; he makes sure they do work, every single day.
As Director of Operations, Dean leads the team that keeps Sasquatch moving. He’s the boots on the ground, solving problems before they surface, smoothing out the chaos, and making sure every project runs like clockwork. While Mary sets the big-picture direction, Dean handles the day-to-day grind with a steady hand and a quick wit.
Known for his ability to calm clients, rally crews, and troubleshoot just about anything, Dean is also infamous for his dad jokes. (We’re pretty sure Sasquatch is the only one who laughs—but that’s never stopped him.)
From residential remodels to multifamily builds, Dean is the one ensuring everything stays on time, on budget, and built to last. He brings grit, heart, and a surprising number of one-liners to every job site—and the whole team is better for it.

Bryce DeBerry, Chief Revenue Officer
About Bryce
We’re just saying… we’ve never seen Bryce and Sasquatch in the same room at the same time.
As Sasquatch Contracting’s Chief Revenue Officer, Bryce is the behind-the-scenes force making sure customers’ visions stay on track. From managing sales to keeping us aligned with our goals, Bryce ensures that all the Sasquatch teams are talking so that projects are completed to the customer’s utmost satisfaction. Think of him as the glue that holds everything together—just with a lot more spreadsheets and a little less mess.
Before finding his way to Sasquatch, Bryce spent five years in the plumbing industry as a commercial account manager, followed by two years in HVAC, and a whopping 15 years in the door-to-door sales world—selling everything from security systems to smart home automation. All of that experience in sales and communication makes him the perfect person to guide our estimators in delivering the best products and projects for you, our clients.
Bryce appreciates that Sasquatch uses a fully transparent approach with their clients. He believes that clients can make the best decisions for their homes and families, so long as they aren’t bogged down with jargon and confusing timelines. His goal is always to be clear, direct, and helpful, so that customers feel confident every step of the way.
When he’s not navigating the sales world, Bryce is likely out hunting or enjoying time away in his cabin. Whether it’s tracking down a big game, looking for Sasquatch in Idaho’s woods, or just taking in nature, he’s all about getting outside.
